Hi, I’m Nikki
Above everything, I am a follower of Jesus
RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist)
Outdoorsy- trail running & hiking junky
French Fries & Salad kinda balance
Endurance seeker
Coffee over matcha
But apart from the labels - my purpose in life is guiding women to a more powerful and restored relationship with food through prioritizing Jesus. I am your dietitian who cares deeply about your faith and your health.
“In order to make a lot of money, you need to sell yourself. You make yourself as the only one who can fix their problems. Marketing yourself.” -my ex business coach
I am a Christian first. So when I was given this advice I, kindly said absolutely not. Because I was am not the fixer. In fact, this was anything BUT true in my journey… So how could I sell myself as this ultimate healer when I knew God the only true way to freedom? …(see blow)…
I wasn’t the healer of MY story. This wasn’t the way I healed my relationship with food, found balance in eating, stopped the diet/binge cycle, or finally restored my way relationship with food.
I was actually the worst at it. It wasn’t until I fully submitted my struggles to God that I found true healing. So how could I leave that part out?
Truth is I did… for a few years… and it ate me alive!
I coached women who desire to have a restore relationship with food. I grew a successful business, but there was this sinking feeling that this wasn’t enough.
I needed to tell them what really healed me. The foundation I was teaching women helped, but it was a cheapened version.
While all these things helped:
-learning to eat intuitively
-understanding how to balance foods
-fueling my body correctly so it thrived
-fix my cravings…
THOSE are the fruit of what really transformed me.
What really transformed me was:
-Finally giving it all over to God
-Submitting to His plan, even when it felt uncomfortable
-ACTUALLY seeking to find the answers through Him and not another diet, meal plan, or workout plan
SO LET’S BE REAL.
I wasn’t *always* in the position of helping women find food freedom & have the confidence they were always chasing. I literally started ground zero no idea how to do it. Seriously - years ago I was living struggling with body image, disordered eating, binges, restriction, and my faith was struggling. But now, I am finally living in a place of true freedom in Christ. So, I decided the truest path forward was to share all i’ve learned with women about submitting their desires around weight loss, body image, and eating to God.
SO I WROTE A BIBLE STUDY THAT»»
Addresses our struggles and why we struggles so much with this
Teaches exactly how God made your body and how you can nourish it correctly
Quit the cycle of chasing diets
